About Me

I have known Cassie for a few years & received a call recently that one of her boys from the last litter (April 09) was in need of a ride home as his main human had tragically passed away. I offered to be that ride. The rest is fast history. It didn't take long for him to work his magic on me. I had been looking for some time for a special Setter for field, agility, obedience objectives and to round out our family, but I always pictured the next as a Gordon or English girl, never an Irish boy. Ultin helped me see the error of my thinking and we are very happy to make this announcement that he has joined our little family. He has two English Setter brothers, Eli and Cass. Eli is a rescue who is very birdy & a once in a lifetime dog in many ways, Cass is an import out of Canada.  I am fairly well skilled in obedience and agility handling, fieldwork is a stretch. :-) Ultin will be spending some time in Ohio to get started on his formal training for field, then join us once again in the spring to begin his agility training. Parting with him will already be difficult, but with Jean Webb and Cass watching over his best interests, I just know he will have a fabulous time and experiences.
